According to the Health Resources and Services Administration, Africans Americans and Latinos are twice as likely to develop chronic conditions which lead to higher rates of mortality and poorer health outcomes. Despite health disparities such as these among certain populations, the impact of can be lessened through education and lifestyle changes.
