Tis the season of thanksgiving and benevolence! This year, the Yale African American Affinity Group (YAAA) will partner with The New Haven Club, Inc. to bring holiday cheer to a family registered with the Christian Community Action, Inc. For more than 51 years, CCA has been a force for community building and social change. CCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. They provide emergency housing, food, and a variety of support services including case management, job search assistance, family counseling, and workshops to families that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Currently, they provide temporary housing to 17 families and offer support services to many other families.
YAAA and The New Haven Club will “Adopt A Family”. We are asking the YAAA community to donate the requested items located within the link below. We will accept individual items or monetary donations. All monetary donations will be used to purchase the remaining items that have not been donated and clothing for the sizes provided. Donations will be accepted until Friday, December 13th.

All donations can be dropped off at Yale Public Safety, 101 Ashmun St. from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday. Please stop at the information window. Donation deadline is Friday, December 13th!!
