YAAA Kicks Off 2014 Fall Festival with the screening of Life’s Essentials with Ruby Dee

YAAA launched the 2014 Fall Film Festival in late September with the screening of Life’s Essential’s with Ruby Dee. After the screening, the audience engaged in a talk back session with Producer, Muta’ Ali Muhammed, the grandson of the late Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, and the film’s Director, Jevon “NJ” Frank. Other screenings throughout the weekend, included “A Raisin in the Sun”, “Carmen Jones”, and “School Daze”.
