Event description:

An exhibition of work by MFA artists at the Afro-American Cultural Center
Opening March 17, 6–8PM
Exhibition on view: March 17 – April 21, 2022

For the past 50 years, the Yale Afro-American Cultural Center has served as an axis of political, cultural, and social exchange between Black Yale students and community members. “Brought it Home: A Continuum” is a cross-disciplinary collaboration organized by Yale School of Art MFA Students.
We celebrate this rich history and hope to foster new connections between artists and students across Yale. Artworks installed throughout The Center activate the unique architecture and emphasize the space as a home for intergenerational exchange: a continuum of the past, present, and future.
