March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Yale African American Affinity Group (YAAA), Yale Latino Networking Group (YLNG), Working Women’s Network (WWN), and the Asian Network at Yale (ANY) have agreed to sponsor TWO events at two different locations in honor of the NEA Read Across America. NEA’s Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books.
We will support Reginald Mayo Early Childhood School at 10 AM and 10:30 AM. We need at least one reader per session and someone to wear the Dr. Seuss Costume. The New Haven Boys and Girls Club needs our support to help with hat making after the reading. Click here to RSVP.
