Join the Future Leaders of Yale, Yale African American Affinity Group, Yale Latino Networking Group, and Working Women’s Network for the next Building Wealth Generator Series event entitled “The First Growing Season: Saving and Investment Strategies for Young Adult Years”. We will discuss step by step building emergency fund, maximizing 401(k) contributions, and step by step building investments.

Guest speakers will include Stephen R. Vaughan and Eric Judge, CFP. This event will be moderated by Elvin Turner, JD, MBA.

Stephen Vaughan is Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager at Liberty Bank. He works directly with business owners and managers to help them achieve their goals. Stephen has more than 32 years of commercial lending and financial consulting experience, serving as a banking officer at two other institutions as well as managing his own real estate mortgage company. Stephen is also a Pastor, who lives a life of service and integrity. He has been married to his wife, Adrienne, for 24 years.

Eric Judge is a certified financial planner with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is highly knowledgeable in a number of financial products and services that family use to plan and shape their finances. He is currently a Junior Achievement volunteer and serves on the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce Board. He has also served as a former University of Connecticut Alumni Association Board President and on the Connecticut Teachers Retirement Board.

Elvin Turner is President of the Take Charge Total Wellness Foundation, Inc. He is also President of Turner Consulting LLC. He is an author, attorney, market researcher and industry strategist. He writes books and articles on a range of financial and legal topics. Elvin cares deeply about people. He also believes in the connection between wealth and health. He and his wife, Dr. Katrina Turner, have moderated financial and health sessions that have helped many families.
