April’s guest speaker will be Coach James Jones, the longest tenured head coach in the Ivy League, in his 23rd year. Coach Jones is the winningest men’s basketball coach in school history and 2nd winningest coach in Ivy League history, with 191 Ivy wins.
This past year, Jones guided the Bulldogs to an NCAA Tournament berth for the third straight season. Yale finished with 19 overall wins and won the Ivy League Tournament by beating Penn and Princeton on back-to-back days at Harvard. The Bulldogs were matched up with third-seeded Purdue in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Milwaukee.
