Thanks to everyone who helped young learners and their families by participating in the Women United Mayo School Supply Drive! Because of your support:

  • 250 Mayo School students received remote learning supply kits who otherwise would not
  • Teachers distributed the supplies to students and families the week of Thanksgiving
  • 40 notes of encouragement were shared with teachers and staff
  • 125 books by African American authors were donated by the Yale African American Affinity Group, including a personal drop off from local author Tyrese Sullivan
We are grateful for our partnership with United Way and Women United. The supply drive will assist our students with actively engaging in their learning while they are at home.” - Principal Monique Brunson, Dr. Reginald Mayo Early Childhood School
