YAAA Fall 2014 Film Festival FAQs

Q1:Is this event open to the public?
A1: All events and activities for the YAAA Fall 2014 Film Festival are free and open to all members of the Yale community and the general public.

Q2: How do I register for the Film Festival online?
A2: To register for the YAAA Fall 2014 Film Festival, visit our registration page.

Q3:Can I reserve more than one ticket?
A3: All registrants can secure four(4) tickets per transaction.

Q4:Can I secure one ticket for all showings?
A4:The registration form has all showings listed.  You will be able to select a total of four (4) tickets for each screening and complete the attendee details in one transaction.

Q5:Are children allowed to attend, and if so, what are the recommended ages?
A5:The YAAA Film Festival can be enjoyed by audiences who meet the ratings criteria for each of the screenings.  Please refer to each individual screening for a general description and the rating.

Q6:How do I reserve my seat by phone?
A6:To register for the event by phone, please contact the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at 203.432.9667.

Q7:How late can I register?

A7:Registration for each screening will close 24 hours prior to the start of the screening.

Q8:Will walk-ins be allowed to attend?
A8:YAAA recommends securing your registration online or by phone to ensure that a seat is allowed for you and your guest(s).  All registered guests will be seated upon arrival and up until 10 minutes prior to the start of the showing.  Unregistered guests will be allowed to convene in the waiting area.  Any unused seats will be offered at that time.

Q9:What time should I arrive?
A9:We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the screening.  Any seats not occupied 10 minutes prior to the screening will be released to unregistered guests.

Q10:Can I volunteer for the event?

A10:YAAA welcomes any individual in the Yale and New Haven community to volunteer at all of our events.  Click here to register as a volunteer.
